Advanced settings
Dashboard → Settings is where workspace-wide configuration lives. Everything on this page is admin territory: editors, members, and viewers can see the dashboard, but changing workspace settings requires the admin role.
Delivery
Section titled “Delivery”The edge delivery toggle controls how your campaigns are served. Edge delivery is the production path — campaigns publish to a global edge network so embeds and screens load fast everywhere. Admins only. You’d touch this rarely, typically only if support asks you to during troubleshooting.
Conversation continuity
Section titled “Conversation continuity”Controls whether a visitor’s Squid conversation can continue across surfaces — for example, scanning a QR code on a screen and picking up the same conversation on their phone. Turn it off if your deployment shouldn’t carry conversations between devices.
Guided setup
Section titled “Guided setup”Shows your guided-setup status and lets you reset it. Resetting replays the first-run walkthrough — useful when a new admin takes over a workspace or you want to re-check the basics. It doesn’t delete anything.
Brand profile and Brand domains
Section titled “Brand profile and Brand domains”Brand profile holds your tagline, website, socials, and location — the facts your brand page and /ask concierge draw on. Brand domains is where you attach a custom domain to your brand page (your free yourname.sparkletree.io subdomain works out of the box). Admins update these when the brand’s public identity changes. Invite teammates by email with a role (Admin, Editor, Member, or Viewer), manage pending invitations, and change or remove members. Only admins can change roles or remove members; editors can send invitations but can’t mint admin invites. See Managing your team for the role-by-role details.
API keys
Section titled “API keys”Create, list, and disable workspace API keys. Keys authenticate agents and scripts against the MCP endpoint and API without an OAuth sign-in — see MCP connector setup. Treat keys like passwords: they act with workspace access, so store them in a secrets manager, never in shared documents, and disable any key you no longer recognize or need. Admins create keys when setting up an automation and disable them the moment that automation is retired.
Language defaults
Section titled “Language defaults”Two related defaults live here. Live-language mode sets how Squids choose a display language: English, Local by context (match the visitor’s locale), or Fixed (one specific language). Campaign base-language defaults set what new campaigns start with. Individual campaigns can override both on their Configure face; change the workspace defaults when most of your campaigns should behave the same way — say, a brand operating across markets that wants local-by-context everywhere.
Social connections
Section titled “Social connections”Connection cards for Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and Bluesky. Meta is fully live (ads, organic posting, emergency stop) and Bluesky supports posting and listening. Reddit and TikTok connect today; posting and ads are in preview. Connecting Meta accounts is admin-only. You’d visit these cards once per platform, then again only to reconnect after a password change or to disconnect.
Danger zone
Section titled “Danger zone”Destructive, workspace-level actions live at the bottom, admin-only and deliberately out of the way. Read the confirmation text carefully — actions here are not casual undos.
Tip: If a setting seems missing, check your role first. Non-admins see a reduced Settings page.
