Social accounts and posting

This is the deeper companion to the socials essentials. It covers exactly what posting looks like on each platform, how the Socials feed works, how Bluesky listening rules are built, and how Florence’s posting fits the same rails. What you can post, per platform

Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Fully live and the most mature platform. You can publish organic posts to your Facebook Page and your Instagram account, alongside Meta’s ad capabilities (deploying ads is covered in the Deployment cookbook).

Bluesky. Live for organic posting: text, links, and images. Alt text is required on every image — SparkleTree won’t publish an image post without it. Post engagement metrics sync back so your Bluesky posts show up with real numbers. No ads, by design: the AT Protocol has no ads API, so this isn’t a gap SparkleTree will fill later. No DMs and no video.

Reddit. Connect today; posting and ads are in preview. What exists now is read access plus draft preparation — posts can be prepared as drafts, but nothing publishes to Reddit. The connection card shows capability badges (“Ads write gated”, “Organic write disabled”) so you can see the current state at a glance.

TikTok. Connect today; posting and ads are in preview. The connection is the whole story for now — no posting, no deploys, no analytics.

Note: There is no scheduled-posting calendar. Posts publish when you (or Florence, with approval) publish them.

The Socials feed

Dashboard → Socials is a live feed of posts and ads across your connected platforms — one place to see everything that’s out there and how it’s doing. You can slice it three ways:

• Kind — filter to ads or organic posts.
• Status — filter by the item’s current status.
• Sort — order by recency or by performance.

The feed aggregates across Meta, Bluesky, Reddit, and TikTok connections. It’s available on paid plans.

Bluesky real-time listening, in depth

Bluesky listening watches the network in real time and surfaces posts that match your rules. You manage it from the Realtime settings panel on the Bluesky connection card in Settings.

Anatomy of a rule

Each signal rule is a set of matchers, each with include and exclude lists:

• Keywords — include posts containing your terms; exclude terms cut noise (include “espresso”, exclude “martini”).
• Handles — watch specific accounts, or exclude accounts you don’t care about.
• Domains — match posts linking to particular sites, with the same include/exclude split.

A post surfaces when it matches the includes and trips none of the excludes.

Workspace default and per-campaign rules

You get one workspace-default rule that applies everywhere, plus optional per-campaign rules for tighter targeting. Use the default for your brand terms and handles; add a campaign rule when a specific campaign has its own vocabulary — a product name, an event hashtag, a partner’s handle.

Where events go

Matched posts become events you can see — and Florence sees them too. They’re part of the workspace context Florence gathers, so a spike in conversation about your product is something she can notice and report on.

How Florence posts on the same rails

Florence, your AI marketing assistant, doesn’t get a separate posting system — she uses exactly the channels above, with two guardrails on top:

1. Starred variants only. Florence may only use campaign variants you’ve explicitly starred for autonomous socials (a toggle on the variant in campaign detail). Everything else is off-limits to her, draft-only at most.

2. Approvals. Florence ships in Observe mode: she watches and reports, and never acts on her own. The more autonomous modes (Assist, Operate, Auto) are in preview; even there, publishing and high-impact spending require your approval unless a step is explicitly low-risk.

So the practical shape of it: on Meta and Bluesky, Florence can prepare posts and — with the right mode and your approval — publish starred content. On Reddit she can prepare drafts only. On TikTok, nothing yet. For the full picture of Florence’s modes and settings, see Florence.
