Products
Products are what your campaigns sell. SparkleTree uses them to generate creative, answer visitor questions in chat, and place the right item in front of the right person. A well-kept catalog makes every campaign after it better.
Add a product
Section titled “Add a product”Go to Dashboard → Products and create a new product. There are three ways in — pick whichever matches what you have:
Paste a product URL
Section titled “Paste a product URL”Have the product live on the web already? Paste its URL. SparkleTree reads the page and fills in the details for you.
Import from your website
Section titled “Import from your website”Point SparkleTree at your website and it analyzes the site to find products.
Enter it manually
Section titled “Enter it manually”Fill in the details yourself — name, description, and so on. Use this for products that aren’t online yet, or when you want full control over the copy.
Tip: You can jump straight to a lane from a link: the new-product page accepts a mode in the URL, so links from elsewhere in the dashboard may drop you directly into URL, website, or manual intake.
Drafts and activation
Section titled “Drafts and activation”You don’t need everything ready to start:
- A manual draft can be created without an image. Save what you have and come back.
- Activating a product requires an image. Until it has one, the product stays a draft.
The image does real work: it powers AI placement, which is how SparkleTree maps products into generated creative. A product without an image can’t be placed, so activation waits for one.
When you create an image-less draft, SparkleTree tells you plainly: it creates as a draft, and an image is required to activate.
Connect products to campaigns
Section titled “Connect products to campaigns”Products meet campaigns in the composer. When you’re writing a campaign brief, type / to insert a product token — a dropdown shows your catalog, and the product you pick is highlighted in your text.
Tokens do two things:
- They tell SparkleTree exactly which products the campaign is about, so the parsed brief detects them with high confidence.
- They gate generation: the Generate Campaign button counts your selected products, and if none are selected it asks you to add a token first.
You can also skip the catalog entirely for a one-off — paste a product URL straight into the composer and SparkleTree handles the rest. See Create your first campaign for the full flow.
Edit a product
Section titled “Edit a product”Open any product from Dashboard → Products to update its details — name, description, image, and the rest. Edits flow through to how the product appears in campaign generation and chat answers going forward.
Note: Who can do what: any member of your workspace who can create content can create and edit products, but deleting a product is limited to editors and admins.
