Your brand in SparkleTree
Everything you make in SparkleTree — campaigns, Squids, videos, your public page — carries your look and voice. A Squid is your campaign’s living, conversational ad — it greets, talks, and adapts. For all of that to feel like you, SparkleTree needs to know what “you” looks and sounds like.
That’s what the Brand section is for. Open Dashboard → Brand and you’ll find two tabs:
- Brandbook — your identity: colors, logos, and voice.
- Publishing — your live public page and how people (and AIs) find it.
This page covers the Brandbook. For going live, see Publishing your brand page.
Start from your website
Section titled “Start from your website”The fastest way to fill in your brand is to let SparkleTree read the site you already have.
- Open Dashboard → Brand.
- In the Brandbook tab, find Start from your website.
- Paste your website’s URL.
SparkleTree drafts your colors, logo, tagline, and voice from what it finds. Nothing goes live — the result lands as a draft you can review and adjust. If you’ve already set up your brand, the same tool appears as a collapsed Import from your website row.
The Brandbook tab
Section titled “The Brandbook tab”The left side of the Brandbook is a full-size live preview of your brand. As you edit on the right, the preview updates, so you always see what your audience would see. The right side has three sections.
Atmosphere
Section titled “Atmosphere”Atmosphere is your color world. It has five colors:
- Ink and Paper — your two base colors, roughly “text” and “background”.
- Primary, Secondary, and Accent — three accent colors for buttons, highlights, and flourishes.
You also set a Temperature (warm, neutral, or cool) that tilts the overall mood. Want an image or video behind everything? Add atmosphere media and pick a treatment so your text stays readable. If you know your exact hex codes, the Fine-tune drawer lets you override any color precisely.
Marks are your logos. There are three slots:
- Primary — your main logo.
- On dark ground — the version that works on dark backgrounds.
- On light ground — the version that works on light backgrounds.
Filling all three means SparkleTree always picks a logo that’s legible, whatever the background of a given Squid or page.
Voice is how your brand sounds. The public-facing part is short:
- Eyebrow — the small line above your name (think “Est. 1998” or “Live music nightly”).
- Tagline — your one-liner.
- Your Display and Text fonts.
Below that sits the AI briefing — and this part is private. It’s never shown on your public page. Here you describe your tone, personality, audience, value propositions, do’s, and things to avoid. Every campaign SparkleTree generates for you reads this briefing first. The more honest and specific you are here, the less you’ll need to rewrite later.
Tip: Write the AI briefing the way you’d brief a new hire on their first day. “Playful but never sarcastic. Our regulars are families. Never promise discounts.”
Why this matters
Section titled “Why this matters”Your Brandbook isn’t decoration — it’s the source everything else pulls from:
- Generated campaigns and Squids use your Atmosphere colors, your Marks, and your fonts, and write copy guided by your AI briefing.
- Your brand page — the public page at your domain — is styled from the same identity.
- Videos you render inherit the same colors and marks.
Set the Brandbook well once, and every future campaign starts on-brand instead of needing fixes after the fact.
Drafts and Publish
Section titled “Drafts and Publish”You can edit freely. Every change autosaves as a draft on the server — nothing you touch goes live by itself, and drafts survive if you close the tab.
When the draft looks right, an admin clicks Publish in the footer to take it live. That’s the only way changes reach your public page and your future campaigns’ defaults.
Note: Any workspace member can edit the draft, but only an admin can press Publish. On some plans, non-admins see the brand read-only.
The Setup checklist
Section titled “The Setup checklist”The Setup checklist tracks how complete your brand is — colors, logos, voice, and so on. It’s a guide, not a gate: you can dismiss it any time. But a fully checked list means every generated campaign has real material to work with.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Publishing your brand page — claim your free subdomain or connect your own domain, and share your page.
- How your page gets found — what SparkleTree does automatically so people and AIs can find you.
